Guy Vanhoucke studied law at the Catholic University of Leuven, where he graduated in 1986.
That same year he started his internship at the bar of Antwerp and was registered as a member in 1989.
In October 1989, he established his own Office.
He is active in commercial law, construction and real estate law, banking and insolvency law, company law and the broader contract law.
He also fulfills various assignments as a court representative.
Ann Verkest did her law training candidatures at the FUNDP in Namur and the licenses at the KU Leuven.
She graduated in 1986 and did her internship at the Brussels Bar in that same year. She became a member in 1989 and has been working in general commercial law, banking law, bankruptcy law, contract and tenancy law.
Kjell Swartelé completed his studies in law at the Catholic University of Leuven in 1997 and joined the Office since then, where he became a partner in 2007.
He was an Assistant at the Institute for insolvency law of the Catholic University of Leuven, published and gives lectures (VIZO, CIB, AKVA, National Chamber of Bailiffs, UA …).
He specialises in among others insolvency practice (bankruptcy, judicial reorganization, judicial settlement, seizure law, …) and advises a wide range of companies on commercial and economic law with a thorough knowledge of the Antwerp Diamond sector.
Inge Pierreux completed her law studies at the University of Antwerp, graduated in 2004 and joined the Office since then.
She became a partner in 2007.
She is active in corporate law, with a special attention to, inter alia, contract, construction and banking law.
She also handles files relating to seizure law, real estate law and the issues around securities and other collateral are among her interests.
Sebastiaan Boumans graduated in law at the University of Antwerp in 2007.
He has been working at the Office since October 2007 and in 2008, he completed a thorough course in corporate law at the Tax College in Brussels.
Sebastiaan Simoen graduated from the University of Antwerp in 2010 and has been working at the Office since October 2010.
Jonas Donvil graduated as Master of Law in 2002 from the University of Antwerp and was admitted to the Antwerp Bar that same year.
Jonas has been working with Vanhoucke-Law since 2015.
He mainly deals with cases in the field of commercial and economic law, with an emphasis on construction-, insolvency- and company law.
He is also active in the fields of labor and liability law.
In 2017 she completed her L.L.M. in Commercial Law at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and did she partake in the Willem C. Vis Arbitration Moot as teammate of an international composed team, after which she was admitted to the Antwerp bar.
She joined Vanhoucke-Law in 2018.
Anne-Katrien mainly focuses on cases regarding company law, with an emphasis on real estate, commercial and insolvency law. It is because of her specific interest in real estate, that she currently follows the executive master in Real Estate Management at the Antwerp Management School.
